What if the art licensing advice you've been following is actually holding you back?
When I started licensing my artwork, I was told I needed a huge portfolio, thousands of followers, and to pitch as many companies as possible.
I did things differently. And I built a six-figure art licensing business in my very first year, working part-time.
Now I'm pulling back the curtain on the five rules I broke, what I did instead, and how you can start approaching art licensing with a smarter strategy.
SAVE MY SEATYour art deserves more than sitting in a portfolio.
You've spent hours creating beautiful artwork. You've perfected your designs, worked on your portfolio, and maybe even sent pitches to companies.
But getting your artwork licensed? That's a different story.
Here's what I want you to know: You don't necessarily need MORE artwork. You need a better strategy for the artwork you already have.
And that's exactly what we're going to talk about.
Inside this free workshop,
you'll discover...
01. Why a bigger portfolio isn't always the answer
Discover why creating more and more artwork might be keeping you stuck, and how to start thinking about your portfolio from a retailer's perspective.
02. Why pitching MORE companies can mean getting FEWER opportunities
Learn why sending your portfolio to everyone isn't necessarily the best approach, and what to focus on instead to find companies that are actually a fit for your artwork.

03. Why being different is one of your biggest advantages
Forget trying to make artwork that looks like everything else on the shelves. Discover why your unique style can become a powerful selling point.

04. What most artists get wrong about pitching
Your artwork is only part of the equation. Discover why some pitches fall flat and how understanding the business side of licensing can completely change your approach.

05. Why you don't have to do ALL THE THINGS to build a successful licensing business
You don't need thousands of Instagram followers, a fancy website, or an art agent to get started.
I'll share how I built my own licensing business while raising four kids, and why focusing on the RIGHT activities made such a difference.
From selling my own products to building a six-figure art licensing business.
I know what it's like to build an art business that demands your attention around the clock.
I made millions selling my artwork online, but eventually I realized I didn't want to spend my days managing orders, production, shipping, and customer service.
I wanted to create art. And get paid for it.
That's when I turned my attention to art licensing.
Instead of manufacturing and selling everything myself, I could create artwork that companies licensed for their products.
And in my first year, I built a six-figure licensing business while working part-time.
With four years of experience as an art director in New York, I also understood something many artists overlook:
Retailers aren't simply looking for beautiful art. They're looking for artwork that makes sense for their products and customers.
That insight changed the way I approached my portfolio, pitching, and licensing opportunities.
Today, I work roughly 15–20 hours a week around life with my four kids.
And in this free workshop, I'm sharing five of the biggest lessons that helped me build my business by doing things differently.
Let’s do this.
